Learning and Development Sr. Specialist

Identify development needs, design, create and develop learning and development solutions across the University level to excel staff performance within their roles and achieve the University goals.

Primary and Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze Learning and Development needs in alignment with the organization’s strategic operational plans, performance data, and competencies.
  • Create, design, and deliver a variety of L&D solutions to support the organizational change, development needs, and objectives of MSA University.
  • Develop learning resources utilizing blended learning and digital solutions, and apply adult learning theories.
  • Deliver various in-house training programs to serve the University’s strategic objectives.
  • Establish strong rapport with MSA employees and MSA Internal Trainers.
  • Build connections with 3rd party training vendors.
  • Schedule and organize learning activities, and manage enrollment and tracking on the Learning Management System.
  • Deliver personalized and quality service by collaborating with organization leaders, staff and subject matter experts to build relationships and instill trust through sharing knowledge of desired outcomes and benefits of developed solutions.
  • Monitor compliance and engagement of all required L&D activities, including training programs for new hires, learning initiatives, and work directly with department heads to drive compliance for all required training.
  • Utilize the Learning Management System to accurately record all learning activities.
  • Answer Learning and Development related issues and provide high-quality customer service across the organization.
  • Develop evaluation tools that assess the effectiveness of Learning and Development activities in meeting needs and objectives.
  • Manage and analyze periodical reports to measure the progress and effectiveness of L&D activities, utilizing evaluation data to revise or apply changes in training methods or objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze Internal Trainers’ Evaluations and Learners’ Satisfaction, and develop appropriate action plans.
